Site Content tips for HealthToasters Club Website

Navigation for the public pages on this site is generated by templates provided by our hosting service, FreeToastHost. This is a free Web-hosting service created by a Toastmaster for all Toastmasters to use. That makes it easy for the officers of this Toastmaster club to take advantage of the tools available to provide this professional looking site while concentrating on the content unique to our club. This page describes the purpose of the main pages available to the general public and also a few insights into how we use the site in the members-only area.

Available Downloads We store various documents and templates to help our members with their club assignments. Included here, for example, is our template for a meeting agenda.
Meeting Roles It is our club culture for the VP-Education officer to schedule the roles for future meetings. This is accomplished by soliciting requests from the club membership and then producing a schedule to balance the requests for several weeks in advance. The VP-Education publishes the schedule on the website. Each meeting has a Toastmaster, a member that facilitates the entire weekly meeting, getting help from other members serving the various typical Toastmaster club roles. We can see who has the assignment for roles such as General Evaluator, Grammarian, Ah Counter, Timer, Jokemaster/greeter as well as the list of who is scheduled to speak or be a speech evaluator.
Recent meeting notes Notes from past meetings are recorded by the Club Secretary. It is our culture for the Secretary to write these down in a Word document and distribute them to our membership. We use the website to aid in the distribution. We also maintain an archive of past meeting notes combined for a month or quarter.
